about ahauc

The Anglian Highway Authorities and Utilities Committee is one of many regional HAUCs set up under the umbrella of HAUC UK as a forum for sharing technical information and advice with regard to street works and works for road purpose issues.

This web site is primarily designed as a one stop shop for the eastern region on New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) related matters.

It is designed in a wider sense for any interested users who may have an involvement or interest with street or road works activities. This web site contains more specific NRSWA and TMA information relevant to the Anglian HAUC area together with other general and national NRSWA and TMA material references.

We hope that you enjoy this web site and can agree with our mission statement of providing a web site that is viewed as 'best in class' compared with other regional HAUC web sites.

It should be noted that although this web site has been constructed and is being maintained and updated in a professional manner, Anglian HAUC accept no legal responsibility for the information and details contained within this site. Any information contained does not override any requirements of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Traffic Management Act 2004, Health and Safety or any other relevant legislation.
